Research for Action (RFA) has partnered with Teach Plus to evaluate their new affinity group program. RFA’s role in this project involves defining success metrics for the program, particularly focusing on the retention of affinity group participants and facilitators within the field of education. By collaborating closely with Teach Plus, RFA aims to identify and define these key metrics to help measure and contextualize teacher retention for participants and facilitators.
In addition to defining success metrics, RFA will collect and contextualize data to assess early learnings from the program’s first two years. This involves a thorough analysis of the collected data to understand the program’s effectiveness and areas for improvement. The evaluation will culminate in generating foundational knowledge and providing recommendations for future evaluations, thereby supporting Teach Plus in refining and enhancing their affinity group program.
