This report describes Research for Action’s follow up study from its initial 1997-1998 report. The initial report examined the ways in which the Alliance Organizing Project’s community organizing projcess trasformed parents’ ideas about their roles and responsibilities in schools, while this report focuses more closely on the work of teams, particularly on the position of teams in local schools and the impact of that position on the formation of parent-community-educator partnerships.
