RFA conducted a 4-year evaluation of the Trenton School District’s Leadership for Education Achievement (LEAD) initiative. LEAD is a program supported by the DeWitt Wallace Foundation which builds school and district leadership capacity for the purpose of enhancing student achievement. RFA’s work had two goals: to evaluate the effectiveness of the Trenton School District’s interventions implemented through the LEAD grant and to assist leadership teams of teachers and administrators in learning to carry out self-assessment and link their findings to school improvement.
