BLRTN, funded by the DeWitt-Wallace Reader’s Digest Fund, provides professional development to rural middle and high school English teachers. BLRTN emphasizes the use of telecomputing as a catalyst for learning and provides support to classroom teachers as they learn to use new technology. RFA documented how establishing an on-line community reduces the isolation of rural teachers and how telecomputing influences teaching and learning. RFA also consulted with BLRTN teachers as they developed their own documentation processes.
